A quintessential Saluda summer cottage, is now available as a year round mountain retreat.

This cottage has been completely renovated using the National Park Service guidelines for historic structures. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens with large rhododendrons. wildflower trails, roses and an original outhouse, converted into a tool shed. Sunflower is two blocks from the downtown area, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Although close to all the downtown activities, when up on "the hill", surrounded by trees and soft breezes, you feel like you are in the woodlands. People in search of relaxing mountain air, good health activities and warm fellowship have been visiting this area for generations. Whether your desires favor browsing in the fine shops of Saluda, visiting the nationally known historic sites, such as the Carl Sandburg Home or Biltmore House and Gardens, dining in fine restaurants, hiking, biking, white water rafting, equestrian activities, or curling up in front of a huge fire in the fireplace of the main room, or exploring our old railroad town, you have a lot to choose from.
